Tehsilpura, Amritsar

On the 18th of May 1926 at district Tehsilpura, Amritsar, Shri Babaji Maharaj had set down on paper the Divine Prophecy that Shri Nathji was God Incarnate upon earth, and that whosoever believed in him would secure salvation in life as well as in death. This was an historical event which took place at Tehsilpura.

In the times of Shri Nathji Tehsilpura was outside of Amritsar city, in it’s vicinity. But now it has become a part of the expended city. It is near to the new Inter state Bus terminus of Amritsar city. The Tehsilpura Chowk is well know place in the new city. In the following satellite image shown above we can see the exact location of Tehsilpura Chock and Tehsilpura area in close up.  In the image bellow that we can see the area on Telshilpura Chock in reference to it's surrounding areas. As we can see that now all this is a big concrete jungle. Amritsar city has expended greatly spatially in the last 20 years.  Nowadays It is a well know residential area with many doctors and clinics. But in times of Babaji Maharaj itI was a village in the neighborhood of Amritsar. Rough estimates and  demarcations of Tehsilpura area is shown in the map of that region in Amritsar below.
