Polaris Motel in Roorkee is the place where HH Shri
Mahaprabhuji used to stop for a few hours for rest before going on to Mussoorie
from Delhi, during His several trips between the two cities as it is
convinently located on Delhi-Haridwar National Highyway No 58. Here all the waiters and gatemen fondly remembered him even after He had left the earth
Motel Polaris was founded by Late Kr. Yudhishter Singh in
year 1960 at a nearby place to Roorkee Bus Stand. Motel Polaris has been
honored by being the first 3 star Motel of India and providing 3 star
hospitality since 1960. Motel Polaris is now managed by Kr. Dhruv Singh who is
the sole owner of the motel. Motel Polaris is a centrally situated business class
motel, adjacent to the famous IIT Roorkee and very near to the famous Roorkee
Cantonment. Being in centre of city, the Motel Polaris is easily accessible
from the up market areas, tourist places and other places of interest. It is a
very nice place to stay overnight and have meals.
