Shri Nathji's favorite biscuits - Cream Crackers

 Shri Nathji's favorite biscuits were “Cream Crackers” which were somehow rarely available and were not easily digestible.But Shri Nathji liked them very much

A cream cracker is a flat, usually square, savoury biscuit. The name "cream crackers" refers to the method in which the mixture is creamed during manufacture. The cream cracker is traditionally prepared using fermented dough.

They are made from wheat flour, vegetable oil and yeast, and are commonly served with cheese or other savoury toppings, such as Marmite or Vegemite. They are also eaten with butter or margarine or without accompaniment.

In India Cream Crackers biscuit label was synonymous with health, simplicity, and premium tea-time snacking. The market during this era was dominated primarily by Britannia Industries with their iconic Britannia Cream Crackers.

Brigadier Paintal

 Brigadier Paintal was devoted to Shri Nathji and used to visit Him at His residence in Saryodya Enclave in New Delhi. On the 15th of August 1983, Shri Nathji and Priya Nath decide to hold a small celebration at home, if only to view the video cassette of June 24, 1983 which Priya Nath has dubbed into English.
Shri Nathji gives a powerful speech for forty-five minutes while the video rental man fixes the set and adjusts it after arriving late in the first place. The lights go off during the viewing. But, on the whole, the video transports everyone to another plane. Brigadier Paintal attends the function and  who sits through the entire evening, even though he had left his daughter ill at home, and who repeatedly says “Wah! Wah!” during the video viewing.

Brigadier Jitinder Singh Paintal (1916–2012) was a distinguished Indian Army officer who served as the Surveyor General of India, leading the national survey and mapping organization. There he oversaw national cartographic and surveying projects, and authored technical publications like the Handbook of Topography for the Survey of India.
