Sagar University

This is the Photograph of Sagar University (It’s main gate and library building) of which Shri Nathji’s great devotee Shri G.P. Bhatt was the Vice Chancellor. He had retired as Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh and had been appointed Vice Chancellor of Sagaur University. He was the Forth Vice Chancellor of the University. His predecessors were Shri Hari Singh Gour, Prof. R.P. Tripathi and Pandit D.P. Mishra. He was followed by Prof. M.P. Sharma.
University of Sagar (Now called Doctor Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya), was established on 18th July 1946 by Dr. Harisingh Gour (Nov. 26,1870 – Dec. 25,1949)  by his lifetime saving. This 18th University of India and the oldest and the biggest   University of Madhya Pradesh has perhaps the singular distinction of being founded by the munificence of a single person's hard earned money of about two crore of rupees.
