A certain Jewish
priest well versed in the complex writings of the Cabala came to Shri Nathji
and heard him speak. He was dressed in a black robes and a black skullcap. He
sat before Shri Nathji for a long time while Shri Nathji poured out his heart
and soul into him. The priest’s face lit up with the divine glow of Shri
Nathji. It was as if Shri Nathji had thrown a light on his face. The man was
absolutely astonished at Shri Nathji's words and said to him:"What you
have said is found in our secret writings of the Cabala, which are little known
to people! Each and every word that you say must be recorded and preserved for posterity!"
Kabala or Cabala, in Hebrew
literally means "receiving", is an esoteric method, discipline and
school of thought. Its definition varies according to the tradition and aims of
those following it, from its religious origin as an integral part of Judaism,
to Christian, New Age, or Occultist syncretic adaptions. Kabbalah is a set of
esoteric teachings meant to explain the relationship between an unchanging,
eternal and mysterious Ein Sof (no end) and the mortal and finite universe (his
creation). While it is heavily used by some denominations, it is not a
religious denomination in itself. Inside Judaism, it forms the foundations of
mystical religious interpretation. Outside Judaism, its scriptures are read
outside the traditional canons of organized religion. Kabbalah seeks to define
the nature of the universe and the human being, the nature and purpose of
existence, and various other ontological questions. It also presents methods to
aid understanding of these concepts and to thereby attain spiritual realization.
Very Few People in the world claim to comprehend the secret writings of Kabala.
The image is of tree of life as it is depicted in the Kabala writings.
