Abbottabad

Shri Nathji appeared in Human form in June 23rd 1902 in Abbottabad . It was a city of British India and the headquarters of Hazara Division. It was named after Major James Abbott. Major Abbott settled this district in 1853 after the annexation of the Punjab and he became its first Deputy Commissioner. Abbottabad was an important military cantonment and sanatorium, being the headquarters of a brigade in the second division of the northern army corps. Abbottabad is situated in the Orash Valley lying between 34°09′N latitude and 73°13′E longitude at an altitude of 4,120 feet (1,260 m). Above is a latest photo of the city at night.
During the time Shri Nathji was born it was a small and beautiful town as in 1901 the population of the town and cantonment was 7764. At the time of Shri Nathji’s birth there was only one Government Dispensary. The first hospital in Abbottabad opened only in June 1948, when the British Red Cross opened a hospital in Abbottabad to deal with 80-100 patients daily who were being "brought in from the Kashmir fighting areas". So I was thinking that may be Shri Nathi was born at the Dispensary at that was the only place where medical aid was available in that small town. But the city suffered widespread damage from the 2005 Pakistan earthquake and thus most of the old buildings were damaged. So my chances of trying to find the photograph of the old dispensary are very remote. But I will try to source some contact in Pakistan who can help get me a photo of that dispensary. Even if Shri Nathji was not born there, there is a strong possibility that He or His mother were taken to that dispensary for post delivery check-up any time during the duration of their stay.  I have posted two photographs of the Abbottabad. One on the right  is the oldest photograph of the town in 1860. I wanted an old photo of around the time when Nathji  was born. I discovered this photo taken in 1907 which gives us a good Idea of how the city looked likes at the time of Shri Nathji.
