In His later years,
Shri Nathji took a fancy to a certain “Mohini” brand of sweaters, which he and HH
Priya Nath thereafter dutifully purchased at the sale at Janpath Hotel every
year. The Mohini Brand of Sweaters are manufactured
in Ludhiana. It is about 50 years old company and it started exports in the
year 1976. It has emerged out today as one of the largest knitwear exports unit
in India. The company is now known as Mohini Exports and is located at 419-20,
Industrial Area 'A' Ludhiana.
Shri Nathji used to purchase these Mohini Sweaters at the woolens sale at Janpat Hotel. The Janpath
Hotel is located at Janpath Road, New Delhi. The hotel is easily accessible
from the Connaught Place which is a mere kilometer away. It is 20 km from the
international airport and only 2 km from the railway station. The rooms at the
hotel are comfortable and have modern facilities. All rooms are centrally air
conditioned.
