Dr. R.B. Chavan

Shri Nathji had a long and beautiful relationship with Dr. R.B. Chavan of the I.I.T. He and his wife, Manda Chavan, have been making the wooden cut-out emblems ever since the World Prayer Day was begun in 1984. bring the wooden cut-out of the World Prayer Day Emblem, as they have been doing every year.
The emblem carries the year and date of the World Prayer Day on a globe of the world, with the words: “GOD IS NOW HERE” on the circumference of the globe. Priya Nath always had this emblem placed above Shri Nathji so that people would be told, indirectly, that God was sitting before them in the form of Shri Nathji.
Every year when the Emblem is brought, Shri Nathji’s health begins to improve. It is almost as if it is a sign of good luck. Shri Nathji would speak to the Chavans,  reminding them of their special place in history for the portraits have made of him and Shri Babaji Bhagwan. Shri Nathji also says to Priya Nath: “Dr. Chavan bilkul bachhon ki tarah lagtaa hai! Dr. Chavan appears as a child to me!”
Shri Nathji had given him a special place in His heart ever since he had gone to London and met Pran Nath there.
Also there was a time when Dr. and Mrs. Chavan, went for a brief trip to Mussoorie, where they stayed in the Cottage of ‘Savitri Nivas’, Shri
Nathji’s abode. They brought peaches for Shri Nathji from a peach tree there, which had been planted by Mahamateshwari with her own hands.
Dr. R.B. Chavan also brought Professor L.W.C. Miles of Manchester University and his wife to Shri Nathji. Dr. Miles is totally overwhelmed with the personality of Shri Nathji and listens to his words in rapt attention. He writes later: “I was astonished to see the Grace of God working through Shri Nathji. I thought it had existed only amongst Christians!”
Dr. Chavan and his wife, Manda Chavan, exhibit their paintings on a show on Television and come to borrow Shri Nathji’s portrait in the yellow head rumaal as also Shri Babaji’s portrait – both of which Manda Chavan had made: the first in 1975 and the second in 1982. The paintings look glorious on the television screen and are seen by millions of viewers. Shri Nathji and Priya Nath also watch from their home.
There is Dr. Chavan, also helped HH Pran Nath repair Mangla’s sewing machine. He also introduced his colleague Dr. Mahindru, for Shri Nathji’s darshan. Dr. Mahindru had been in great misery and had no respite from his depression since years. Also he introduced his brother, Sheshrao Chavan, to Shri Nathji.
Shri Nathji loved Dr. Chavan so much that He said -
“Dr. Chavan, maine aapko apne dil men ek special darjaa diya hai – Pranji kaa darjaa. Aapko Priyaji kaa saath denaa hai! “Dr. Chavan, I have given you a special place in my heart, the status of Pranji. You have to stand by the side of Priyaji!”
